Mater's Pizza & Pasta Emporium opened in Gadsden, AL in 1978. Mater's is a family favorite restaurant. We make our own dough and blend the cheeses to make one of the biggest and best pizzas you will ever eat.  We maintain an essential beer menu and offer a variety of wines by the glass and by the bottle.

Mater's of Gadsden is located in historic downtown Gadsden on the corner of Fourth and Locust Street.  The restaurant opened in 1978 as a small pizza and pasta restaurant.  Mater's of Gadsden now occupies half a city block.  We have included a game room and we have many TV's throughout the restaurant.  Sidewalk dining is available when weather permits and free Wi-Fi is also available.

Mater's of Albertville began serving its iconic pizza in downtown Albertville in 2013.  The restaurant is situated in one of the former Hammer's buildings.  Using the rustic hardwoods as a focal point and adding select industrial decor and soft lighting, the owner has created an inviting atmosphere with an open floor plan and spacious seating that beckons patrons to come in for a date night, a fun outing with the family, a celebration with friends, or a relaxing night to catch the game from the bar.

Mater's of Fort Payne is excited to announce the opening of their location in downtown Fort Payne. The location opened in April of 2023. The building has been meticulously renovated and now boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen. Local craftsmen have contributed their skills to create stunning architectural designs throughout the building, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The owner has created two stages with excellent lighting and sound equipment for live music performances, while a spacious patio area with garage doors allows diners to enjoy the beautiful weather. The full bar offers a wide selection of liquor, beer, and wine, adding to the dining experience. To cater to busy customers, a convenient pick-up window has been added for online pickup orders.
